Started in New Jersey, Mountain Bay Goldens are now found all over the United States racking up awards for best in show, best of breed, best of opposite, and fastest mile time in Lake Placid, NY. The family is well socialized in outdoor environments such as running in the snow, high school soccer games, paddle boarding, skiing, and seagull chasing. Each with their own distinct personality, they share traits such as cuddling, not cuddling, chewing sticks, ripping out the squeakers, and meeting new people on walks down Main Street. Due to the close proximity of the siblings, it's common to cross paths with litter mates and witness the instant bond that they still share when the recognize each other. Even if you don't live close to another Mountain Bay golden, by joining the Mountain Bay family, you'll gain access to this amazing group of goldens that can't be found elsewhere.

Our Story

Mountain Bay Goldens started with Flurry in 2007 when she had one litter of puppies: Snowball, Powder, Frost, Avalanche, and Blizzard. Snowball was the first puppy kept with intentions of breeding, but since her hips didn't pass the certification, she was not bred. Instead, Aneira was brought into the family to start her career as a grand champion where she won numerous titles, including Select Bitch Westminster 2014, and more ribbons than could fit into the cabinets of the kitchen. She's had three litters as of July 2016, from which came Akitla  in the first littler and Arctic and Aubrey from the second. Akitla earned her AKC Champion title in 2019. She had one litter of 4 puppies and unfortunately had to be spayed due to a case of pyometra. Arctic has now earned AKC Champion title and is ready to produce some awesome offspring. Aubrey earned a few points with limited showing. Aubrey has had 3 litters of puppies and is now living in California with our daughter, her husband and her son Aquaman the Golden. She has produced 2 champions with another on its way to a champion title. CH Mountain Bay Aiyana is the daughter of Aubrey x Gideon. She had her first litter on 8/24/23 of which we kept a female. Her name is Mountain Bay Adirondack Spice. We are looking forward to getting her out in the show ring. We have plans to breed Aiyana at least 2 more times.

All of our dogs have earned CGC and CGCA titles. We are always complimented how well our dogs behave especially when walking anywhere with 4 dogs on leashes. We get a lot of looks and photo ops.

The next chapter in the story will continue in South Carolina where a larger area for the dogs to roam will be near Charleston . Here, champions will be bred... olympic dock diving champions.

The mission is to keep a close knit family between the litter mates even though there may be miles between them. The connection after taking home a Mountain Bay golden is the most important difference you will find between us and any other breeder. Since this is a lifelong commitment, we'll be there to support you along the way.

Welcome to the family. Woof.
